Hiring a Carpet Cleaning Company versus do-it-yourself

Most carpet cleaning companies offer a range of services: complete carpet cleaning, spot, stain and odor removing, but not all companies have the same type of service or method of cleaning. There are four methods for residential carpet cleaning: foam cleaning, shampooing, dry cleaning and steam cleaning. Most companies specialize in one so be sure to learn more about their techniques. There are pros and cons to each method, so be sure to understand the differences between them before hiring a cleaning company. The price of a professional carpet cleaning is quite different from company to company so be sure to get quotes from different service providers. Normally, $35 to $55 per room is a reasonable price. Ask the cleaning company to provide a free quote beforehand, do not forget to mention about any possible extra service like removing a few stains/marks or odor in a few rooms, it may add up a few dollars.

If you will find a right carpet cleaning provider, it would save you a time, money and effort since they will do all work for you. A carpet cleaning service can move your furniture, clean the carpets until they look new again. Of course, you can clean the carpet yourself by renting a vacuum equipment from Home Depot or by buying one from any stores like Brand smart, Sears, Home Depot or Lowes. It would take a lot of time and effort plus professional carpet cleaning companies know a lot of tricks on how to remove odor, stains or marks and they can restore your carpet to like new condition.  Also, do-it-yourself carpet cleaning can lead to risk permanently damaging your carpet.

It is your choice to make it right by hiring a professional carpet cleaning provider but before you will do that, try to calculate the cost of cleaning on your own versus hiring someone. To get an idea of the cost consider reaching out to one of carpet cleaning providers and getting quotes for cleaning your carpet. Also make sure you will check a credibility of this company by reading all available reviews online.

There are few carpet cleaning companies that provide great service for reasonable prices. Personally, I usually rent from HomeDepot a steam vacuum machine for about $40 and buy some chemicals for $20 if I need to remove some stains from the carpet. It doesn’t require a lot of skills but it takes some time but it is definitely cheaper if you do like 4-5 rooms.

Well, even though you will have to pay $200 for 4-5 rooms and of course it would be cheaper to do it yourselves , but you will save time and beside that you will avoid a possibility of damaging the carpet, and that could cost a lot more than saving a couple bucks.
